Are we a good match?

Unfortunately, we are not able to take every training request. As much as we wish we could help every dog and their owner, we have chosen to dedicate our time only to owners that are willing to commit 100%. If you are able to make the commitment to work hard and make important lifestyle changes, then we would love to help you reach your goals!

Do you use prong collars?

Yes. I have used almost every tool in the dog training market and have found prong collars to be the most humane and effective, despite their looks. Prong collars are not designed to cause pain, but rather to establish a clear and precise line of communication between human and dog.  Unlike other collars, they are designed to distribute pressure evenly around the dog's neck, instead of directly on the anatomical structures that are damaged when a dog pulls on a regular collar. We use prong collars to give clear and direct information to the dogs, which in turn helps them feel confident, safe, and empowered. These collars allow us to give gentle guidance as well as a direct "no" in a safe and understandable way.  Being able to communicate with your dog effectively will provide both you and your dog a sense of confidence and trust, and will strengthen the bond between owner and dog. Trust me when I tell you that I have used it on almost every single client dog from fearful to pushy and have had significant, life-changing results.

May I visit my dog during a Board & Train?

Unfortunately, no. Separation from their owner is part of what makes the dog’s transformation work so well. The home environment and the owner can represent bad habits and in order to ensure impactful change, it is best for your dog to focus on the work and then be reintroduced to you when he or she is in a much better place both mentally and emotionally.

What happens if I don't see results?

Because of the many variables that come into play when creating a balanced, well-behaved dog, including owner commitment, consistency, and follow through, it would be wrong for me to give a 100% guarantee. There are too many things out of my control. However, I only work with the most dedicated clients who bring their A-game to every session, and I only work with clients that are willing to make certain sacrifices in order to give their dog the best life. Because of this policy, I have never worked with a dog that did not find huge success and I have never had a client that was displeased with my services!
